Aloo Paneer Tikki – Navratri Recipe



  • 250g potatoes
  • 100g paneer
  • ½ tsp finely chopped green chilies
  • 2 tsp  raisins
  • Sendha namak to taste
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp kuttu/singhare ka atta
  • oil for frying

  How to make  Aloo Paneer Tikki

  • Wash, boil, peel and mash the potatoes.
  • Add sendha namak, black pepper, kuttu/singhare ka atta (as requried for binding)  and mix well.
  • Divide into equal parts.
  • Grate the paneer and mix chopped green chilies and  raisins.
  • Flatten each part of the potato mix on your palm.
  • Fill in the  paneer mix and fold in from all sides.
  • Flatten in round or oval  shape tikkis
  • Heat the ghee in a pan.
  • Shallow fry  or deep fry the tikkis in medium hot oil till golden brown.
  • Serve hot with coriander  chutney or curd.
