Makhanne Ki Kheer – Navratra Receipe


  • 1 ltr. Full Cream Milkmakhane_ki_kheer
  • 2 tbsp desi ghee
  • 50 gam Makhanne
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. Green cardamom powder
  • 10-12 chopped almonds
  • 10-12 chopped kaju
  • 10-12 kishmish

How to make Makhanne Ki Kheer

  • Heat ghee in a non stick pan and sauté makhane  on a low flame.
  • Take them off the heat and let them cool down and then crush them
  • Boil Milk in another deep pan, add crushed makhanne
  • Simmer it over low flame till makhanne are cooked and milk thickens.
  • Add sugar and let it boil on low heat for another 10 minutes
  • Add elacichi, chopped almonds, kaju, kishmish and mix well and take it off the heat.
  • Serve either hot or chilled.
