Methi Moong Dal Pakore – Recipe Of The Week

Ingredients

  • One Cup Moong Dal (washed properly)
  • Two medium size Onions (chopped)methi_moong_dal_pakore
  • 2-3 Green Chillis  (chopped)
  • One Cup Green Methi Leaves (finely chopped)
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Chat Masala
  • Red Chili Powder to taste
  • 1/4th tsp Garam Masala Powder
  • Oil for frying

How To Make Methi Moong Dal Pakore

  • Soak moong dal for 4-5 hours.
  • Strain it, grind it and make a thick paste.
  • Mix finely chopped onions, chopped green methi leaves & green chillies as per taste.
  • In a bowl add salt, chili powder, garam masala, chat masala and mix it in the paste.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Make even sized balls with hand or tablespoon and fry till crisp on medium flame.
  • Serve Methi Moong Dal  pakore hot with green chutney and tomato sauce.
