Mixed nut chikki recipe


  • 1cup chopped mixed Nuts (Almonds, Pistachios, Cashew nuts, melon seeds equal quantity, peanuts and walnuts can also be used optionally)
  • 1 1/4 cup white sesame seeds
  • 3/4 cup sugar (can also use jaggery instead of sugar)
  • 2 tbsp ghee

How To make Mixed Nut Chikki

  • Heat a pan and dry roast the sesame seeds on medium flame till they splutter and keep aside to cool.
  • Now add a tbsp of ghee and roast all the mixed nuts for about a minute.
  • Now heat the pan and add ΒΌ tsp ghee and let it coat the surface to the pan.
  • Now add the sugar and let the sugar starts to melt and caramelize, you see a light golden color.
  • Remove the pan and add a pinch of baking soda and chopped nuts alongwith sesame seeds. Mix thoroughly.
  • Turn out on to the greased tray.
  • Flatten with the back of the spoon or with the help of greased rolling pin.
  • Cut in pieces when mixture is still warm, if you allow to it cool then we can’t make required shape pieces
  • Store in an airtight tin or box. Enjoy delicious crispy crunchy Mixed nuts chikki
