Sabudana Khichdi – Navratra Receipe


  • 1 cup sabudana
  • 1/2 tsp Sugarsabudana_khichdi
  • 1/2 tsp chopped Green Chillies
  • 1/2 cup peanuts
  • 1 boiled and peeled potato
  • 2 tsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  • Sendha namak to taste
  • Kali Mirch Powder to taste
  • 1 tsp. chopped Coriander leaves

How to Make Sabudana Khichdi

  • Wash and Soak  sabudana for 2 hours. After 2 hours drain and keep aside.
  • Chop the potatoes into small cubes.
  • Heat the oil in a pan fry peanuts  and keep aside.
  • Now add  the chopped potatoes and stir well. Let them cook till they are light brown on the outside
  • Add sabudana, fried peanuts, sendha namak, chopped green chillies, kali mirch powder and mix gently. Let it cook for 4-5 mins stirring occasionally and scraping the sabudana layer from the bottom of the vessel.
  • Sprinkle lemon juice and garnish the sabudana khichdi with chopped coriander leaves.
  • Serve hot either with curd or green chutney.
