Yummy Sabudana & Coconut Ladoo – Navratri Recipe


  • 1 cup sabudana (tapoica pearls)
  • ½ cup coconut powder
  • ½ cup powdered sugar or as required
  • ½ cup  Desi Ghee (Clarified butter)
  • ½  cup chopped cashews and almonds
  • ¼ cup raisins
  • 1 tsp  cardamoms (elechai) powder

 How to make Sabudana and Coconut Ladoo :

  • Roast the sabudana in a  pan on a low flame till it becomes golden brown
  • Let it cool down and then grind to a fine powder in a dry grinder.
  • Lightly roast the coconut powder for 2-3 minutes.
  • Heat the oil and fry chopped cashews and almonds.
  • In a bowl mix sabudana powder, coconut, sugar, ghee with chopped cashews and almonds, raisins and elechai powder.
  • Mix well  with a wooden spoon as the mixture will be slightly warm.
  • Apply ghee on your hands and make medium size  balls from this mixture.
  • Delicious Sabudana and coconut  ladoos are ready to serve.
  • You can also store the ladoos in an air tight container for a week.
