Ingredients
- 4 medium size potatoes
- ½ cup deshi ghee
- 1 cup milk
- 1 ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1tbsp green cardamom powder
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (kaju,badam and raisins)
- Few strands of kesar
How to make Aloo Ka Halwa
- Wash, boil, peel and grate the potatoes.
- Heat ghee in a heavy bottom or a non stick pan.
- Add grated potatoes, sugar and one cup milk.
- Stir continuously as it tends to stick to the bottom a little.
- Cook till the sugar dissolves completely and the halwa starts leaving ghee.
- Add kesar strands dissolved in one tsp of milk, green cardamom powder.
- Garnish with chopped nuts and serve hot.
