Ingredients
- 250g potatoes
- 100g paneer
- ½ tsp finely chopped green chilies
- 2 tsp raisins
- Sendha namak to taste
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 2 tsp kuttu/singhare ka atta
- oil for frying
How to make Aloo Paneer Tikki
- Wash, boil, peel and mash the potatoes.
- Add sendha namak, black pepper, kuttu/singhare ka atta (as requried for binding) and mix well.
- Divide into equal parts.
- Grate the paneer and mix chopped green chilies and raisins.
- Flatten each part of the potato mix on your palm.
- Fill in the paneer mix and fold in from all sides.
- Flatten in round or oval shape tikkis
- Heat the ghee in a pan.
- Shallow fry or deep fry the tikkis in medium hot oil till golden brown.
- Serve hot with coriander chutney or curd.
