Ingredients
- One medium sized Bel Fruit
- 1 ltr water
- 3 tsp. sugar
- ½ tsp. roasted cumin powder
- ¼ tsp black salt,
- 1/2 tsp Lemon juice optional
How to make Bel Ka Sharbat
- Break Bel & scrape the pulp out with the help of knife.
- Soak in water for 2-3 hours, once the pulp is soft, use your hands to mash it.
- Stain the pulp discarding the seed and fibre.You can also use muslin cloth for staining
- In a separate bowl, take one cup of water add sugar, black salt,roasted cumin powder and mix it well.
- Now mix the pulp and add cold water to dilute according to taste.
- Garnish with fresh mint leaves. Serve chilled..
