Ingredients
- 1 cup Sabudana
- 3 to 4 medium potatoes
- ¼ cup peanuts roasted and crushed
- 1-2 green chillies finely chopped
- 2 tsp lime juice
- 2 tbsp kuttu/singhade ka atta
- Sendha namak to taste
- ¼ tsp black pepper powder
- Oil for frying
How to make Sabudana Vadas
- Soak the sabudana in water for at least 2-3 hours
- Use sieve to drain the water from soaked sabudana.
- Wash, boil, peel and mash the potatoes.
- Mix the mashed potatoes and sabudana together.
- Add peanuts, sendha namak green chillies, coriander leaves and lemon juice.
- Mix the entire mixture well. If necessary sprinkle some kuttu atta for good binding of vadas.
- Now take some portion of the mixture in your hands and shape them into flat round vadas
- Deep fry the sabudana vadas till golden brown.You can also shallow fry them on a non stick tava.
- Serve sabudana vada with curd or green chutney.
