Ingredients
- 1 liter milk
- 125 g sugar
- 2 tbsp samai rice
- ½ cup mixed dry fruits finely chopped
- 1tsp elaichi powder
How to make Samai Rice Kheer
- Wash the samai rice and soak in water for half an hour.
- Take heavy bottom pan and bring the milk to a boil, and then lower the heat.
- Add the rice and cook on slow fire till the kheer thickens.
- Add the sugar and and keep stirring till it thickens to avoid burning.
- Add dry fruits and elaichi powder and remove from fire.
- Serve either hot or cold as per your taste.
