Ingredients
- 2 cups sama/vrat ka chawal
- 1 large potato cut into small dices
- 1 cup paneer cut into small dice
- 1 cup tomotoes cut into small dice
- ½ tsp chopped green chilies
- 2tsp chopped green coriander
- 1 tsp raw peanuts
- sendha namak to taste
- ½ tsp black pepper powder
- Oil for frying
How to make Samai Rice Pulao
- Heat one tbsp. ghee or oil. Add sama ka chawal and sauté a little till lightly colored.
- Add the sendha namak, black pepper and 2 cup water.
- Bring to a boil and reduce heat. Cook till almost done.
- Remove from heat and cover and set aside covered for 10 minutes.
- Wash, peel and chop the potato and paneer into dices.
- Also chop the green chilies and the coriander leaves.
- Put some oil in a pan and deep fry raw peanuts potato and paneer dices till golden brown.
- Add fried peanuts, potato, paneer and the chopped tomatoes to the rice.
- Garnish with green chopped chilies and coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with curd or raita.
