Ingredients
- 1 cup sabudana (tapoica pearls)
- ½ cup coconut powder
- ½ cup powdered sugar or as required
- ½ cup Desi Ghee (Clarified butter)
- ½ cup chopped cashews and almonds
- ¼ cup raisins
- 1 tsp cardamoms (elechai) powder
How to make Sabudana and Coconut Ladoo :
- Roast the sabudana in a pan on a low flame till it becomes golden brown
- Let it cool down and then grind to a fine powder in a dry grinder.
- Lightly roast the coconut powder for 2-3 minutes.
- Heat the oil and fry chopped cashews and almonds.
- In a bowl mix sabudana powder, coconut, sugar, ghee with chopped cashews and almonds, raisins and elechai powder.
- Mix well with a wooden spoon as the mixture will be slightly warm.
- Apply ghee on your hands and make medium size balls from this mixture.
- Delicious Sabudana and coconut ladoos are ready to serve.
- You can also store the ladoos in an air tight container for a week.
