Bel Ka Sharbat – A Nourishing Drink


Ingredientsbel ka sharbat

  • One medium sized Bel Fruit
  • 1 ltr water
  • 3 tsp. sugar
  • ½ tsp. roasted cumin powder
  • ¼ tsp black salt,
  • 1/2 tsp Lemon juice  optional

How to make Bel Ka Sharbat

  • Break Bel & scrape the pulp out with the help of knife.
  • Soak in water for 2-3 hours, once the pulp is soft, use your hands to mash it.
  • Stain the pulp discarding the seed and fibre.You can also use muslin cloth for staining
  • In a separate bowl, take one cup of water add sugar, black salt,roasted cumin powder and mix it well.
  • Now mix the pulp and add cold water to dilute according to taste.
  • Garnish with fresh mint leaves. Serve chilled..
